Conditions and surcharges
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
A single surcharge may be charged for transport on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
+20% surcharge per caseIrregular hours
A single surcharge may be charged on working days between 18:00 and 07:00. The patient collection time determines whether it applies.

Waiting fees are not charged. A return journey may be billed separately. Any waiting costs are included in the collection fees.
Definition of a journey
A return transport counts as two journeys (one outward + one return = two journeys).
Consumables
No extra fee may be charged for consumables such as disposable gloves or sheets.
Kilometre calculation
Where the transport platform does not calculate the kilometres, a tool such as TomTom or Google Maps is used with the fastest route option. Kilometres are always counted with the patient on board.
Starting fee
The starting fee includes a maximum number of kilometres, so the invoiced amount will never be lower than this fee.
Cancellation policy
Late cancellation
A cancellation is late when the journey is cancelled 2 hours before the appointment. The carrier may charge once the starting fee for the cancelled single journey. Cancellations more than 2 hours beforehand cannot be charged.
On-site cancellation or unnecessary journey
This applies when the journey is cancelled less than 30 minutes before the appointment and the carrier can show through its register or tracking data that transport had started. Evidence must be supplied within two weeks. The full single-journey amount may be charged, up to €200.
Companion — Free
One companion travels free with the patient, provided that person does not require particular attention and has no mobility limitation.
