  • Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cellphone or a digital tablet.

  • Service refers to the medical transport services provided by Ecovita BV, including but not limited to non-urgent medical transport, transport for people with reduced mobility (PMR), and private transport services in Brussels and surrounding areas.

  • Terms and Conditions (also referred as “Terms”) mean these Terms and Conditions that form the entire agreement between You and the Company regarding the use of the Service.

  • Website refers to Ecovita, accessible from our website hosted on Netlify.

  • You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

Acknowledgment

These are the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this Service and the agreement that operates between You and the Company. These Terms and Conditions set out the rights and obligations of all users regarding the use of the Service.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on Your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

Our Services

Ecovita BV provides the following services:

  • Non-urgent Medical Transport: Accredited transport service for patients requiring non-emergency medical transportation to hospitals, clinics, medical centers, and care facilities in Brussels and surrounding areas.

  • PMR Transport: Specialized transport services for people with reduced mobility (PMR), using specially equipped vehicles.

  • Private Transport: Private transport services for general travel needs, maintaining the same standards of quality and professionalism.

All services are provided in accordance with Belgian regulations and our COCOF accreditation (No. 30.01.15).

Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to confirmation by Ecovita BV. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service time.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to cancellation fees.
  • In case of emergency or medical necessity, cancellation fees may be waived at our discretion.

Pricing

  • Prices for our services are provided upon booking confirmation.
  • All prices are in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the agreed price.

Payment Terms

  • Cash
  • Credit/Debit cards
  • Bank transfers (for advance bookings)

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in advance.
  • For advance bookings, a deposit may be required.
  • Invoices will be provided upon request.

Service Standards

Punctuality

We strive to arrive at the scheduled time. However, factors beyond our control (traffic, weather, emergencies) may cause delays. We will make every effort to inform you of any significant delays.

Vehicle Standards

All our vehicles meet the standards required by COCOF accreditation and are regularly maintained and inspected.

Driver Standards

All our drivers are:

  • Fully licensed and trained
  • Trained in patient care and assistance
  • Professional and courteous
  • Knowledgeable about Brussels and surrounding areas

Limitations of Service

Medical Emergencies

Ecovita BV provides non-urgent medical transport only. For medical emergencies, please contact emergency services (112 in Belgium).

Service Area

Our primary service area is Brussels and surrounding areas. Services outside this area may be available upon request and may incur additional charges.

Liability

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, Ecovita BV’s liability for any damages arising from the use of our services shall be limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Ecovita BV shall not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (traffic, weather, accidents, etc.)
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles
  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Any issues arising from incorrect information provided by the client

Insurance

All our vehicles are fully insured in accordance with Belgian law. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for passenger transport and medical transport services.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking
  • Be ready at the scheduled pick-up time
  • Treat our drivers and staff with respect
  • Inform us of any special requirements or medical conditions in advance
  • Ensure that any medical equipment or mobility aids are properly secured

Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian data protection laws.

Our Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Ecovita BV.

Ecovita BV has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Ecovita BV shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend Your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if You breach these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, Your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.

Disputes Resolution

If You have any concern or dispute about the Service, You agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the Company.

For consumers in Belgium, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Federal Public Service Economy or seek assistance from a consumer protection organization.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at Our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use Our Service after those revisions become effective, You agree to be bound by the revised terms. If You do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the Service.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
